Rear Admiral Bruce D. Baffer

Assistant Commandant for Acquisition & Chief Acquisition Officer
Rear Admiral Baffer currently serves as the U.S. Coast Guard’s Assistant Commandant for Acquisitions and Chief Acquisition Officer (CAO). As CAO he directs efforts across all Coast Guard Acquisition programs, acquisition support, personnel, finance, contracting, and research and development activities to execute the service’s acquisition portfolio.

Ms. Claire M. Grady

Deputy CAO & Director of Acquisition Services
Ms. Claire Grady assumed duties as the Deputy Assistant Commandant for Acquisition and Director of Acquisition Services on Feb. 10, 2013. Previously, Ms. Grady served as the Director of Contracting Procurement and the Coast Guard’s Head of Contracting Activity. In that capacity, she led the development and implementation of procurement policy and operations supporting the diverse portfolio of Coast Guard missions. She also was the principal business advisor to Coast Guard senior leadership and was the community leader for the Coast Guard’s civilian and military procurement professionals.

Ms. Ashley J. Lewis

Senior Procurement Executive & Head of Contracting Activity
Ashley J. Lewis currently serves as the Head of the Contracting Activity for the United States Coast Guard.  In this capacity, Ms. Lewis has responsibility for all contracting functions within the agency, including functional responsibility for over 500 civilian and military personnel throughout the United States and abroad.  The U.S. Coast Guard spends approximately $3 billion dollars per year through 40,000 procurement transactions.

Rear Admiral Joseph M. Vojvodich

Director of Acquisition Programs & Program Executive Officer
Rear Admiral Joseph M. Vojvodich (VAH-vah-ditch) currently serves as the U.S. Coast Guard’s Program Executive Officer (PEO) and Director of Acquisition Programs. His duties include management oversight of all Coast Guard acquisition programs and projects for the modernization and recapitalization of surface, air, command and control, and logistics assets in support of the Coast Guard's multiple maritime missions.
