The C4ISR acquisition program, managed in cooperation with technical authorities from the Coast Guard's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Information Technology (C4IT) directorate, develops, delivers, tests and integrates IT systems and services for the Coast Guard’s surface, aviation and shore-based operational forces. The following C4ISR projects provide essential situational awareness, data processing and information exchange tools for all aspects of mission operations and support.
The Acquisition Directorate also ensures that new or upgraded facilities are ready to accommodate new assets and seeks to improve the transition of those assets into the fleet through the Acquisition Logistics program.
