The Fast Response Cutter (FRC) - "Sentinel" Class will be able to deploy independently to conduct missions, such as ports, waterways and coastal security, fishery patrols, drug and illegal migrant law enforcement, search and rescue, and national-defense operations. The Sentinel Class patrol boat will save lives, enforce U.S. and international maritime law, and ensure security along the United States’ 95,000 nautical miles of coastline.
